I am descended from Melungeon "patriarch" Vardimon "Vardy" Collins from Newman's Ridge (Hancock county) Tennessee. He and his wife Peggy Gibson Collins have many descendents. The highest concentration of which are in Sneedville,Tennessee. I am kin to Vardy through his daughter (or grandaughter) Clarkia Collins who married Isom Biggs.
