Evans of Prince Edward County Virginia

Dennis Evans Sr and Manerva Evans were born around 1800 in Prince Edward County, VA. They had a son Dennis Jr born around 1814. They were free and owned land in 1850. Dennis Jr married Matilda and they had several children. They all lived in Hampden Sydney, VA for many years. I would like to check Free Negro Lists and other sources to learn more about them. If anyone knows anything about the Evans of Prince Edward county or is a descendant of this family please let me know.
