E.P., There's sumpin' bout me your mailbox doesn't like. Art Thomas
Hi E.P.. Sorry about the delay in responding...It has been a very busy week for me. On the photo...are we squared away on a possible time period? late 18's to early 1900's. Your names that cross my lines: Stewart: those are mainly collateral lines who migrated into Logan, Hardin & Champaign Counties, they are originally from Mecklenburg, Va. They married into many of the early FPOC & Caucasian families in those areas, with some moving on into MI. Byrd's: Again very early settlers in Logan, Champaign and even Shelby County. They came from Northampton NC. Like the Stewart's there were many early marriages in this area. The Byrd's in this area were also very heavily involved with UGRR activities..... UGRR another area of research in which I'm deeply involved. Cosuin's: We pick them up from Ross County, OH before coming into this area. They (some) married into my Boyd lines. Not much information. White: There are too many in my database to say... do you have any given names and time periods for your White's of interest? Looking to hear from you and hope I can be of some help, Regards, Art Thomas
