Mr. Thomas; you are on the ball. Thank you for your helpful information about Fountian City. We are going to keep diging and discover that our families are enter twine. :) I do know, in Longtown,there was lots of marrying amoung themselves. My mother at one time was married to young Desota Bass. One of my friends in Richmond Ind. ( Dick Cartpener ) would say all of us were related, because part of his family was from Longtown. The Patterson furneral home in Richmond Ind. had lots of history. The last visit I had to Longtown, the name had changed to Long, Ohio. I have many FOND thoughts of my yougth in that area. ;)
