That's good, I'm glad you found something. One other thing I don't know if you noticed, but also in 1840, there as another FCP named ABRAHAM BLOUNT, living in Pasquotank. He was head of household of a family consisting of himself-36-55 years old, as well as a free female of the same age, and 2 male slaves. It's very possible they were related, if you haven't found that out already.
