May I suggest that you try to keep the lines of communication open with your relatives. Their lack of responses may be due to a multitude of reasons. My experience has shown that not all of my contacts for family and genealogical information share the same passion and/or interest as I. This can often lead to periods when there is little or no contact, but once the "bug" bites them again, they then come back with a renewed interest.

So, stay the course, keep on researching and looking for new sources of information outside the circle of family. The information is out there and the ancestors are willing to help you find them, believe me.
