I believe Cora's father and Telitha's husband's name to be Abram (Abraham) RICKMAN. "Abner" came from a source early in my research and since Abner is a popular name among RICKMANs it made sense. Since that response I've come to believe his name is most likely Abram (Abe).

The above response was not the one I wanted to make but I wanted to respond as quickly as possible and was mainly going "off the top of my head". Since the above response I went back and looked at my notes etc.

Here's what I should have said...

Abner RICKMAN is the name a child of Abner/Abram and Telitha gives for name of father in a marriage record. On that same child's death certificate it lists his father's name as Abram RICKMAN.

Since, unless more evidence shows otherwise, a marriage record "trumps" a death certificate I leaned toward Abner especially since Abner is a popular name among RICKMANs. I have found nothing to "tip the scales" either way or perhaps both ways.

So far the count is...

Abner - 1 marriage record (actual image not abstract).

Abram - 1 death certificate (actual image not abtract)

I have not seen or possess a copy of Cora's death certificate so I don't include that.
