Thank you so much Doug, for your information, there were two of his children, that had him listed on their death certificates as Abe, and Abram. I have a cousin that has a trunk that belonged to Telitha and Abe/Abram's granddaughter, I am told it is full of pictures and other paperwork and letters, the pictures I am told have writing on the back. The problem is that this cousin, will not share the information, she does not return phone calls and it just kills me, because I know the answer is probably in that trunk. The trunk belonged to Myrtle Shaffer, who had no children, so when she died a niece retrieved the trunk and kept it for years and when she died her daughter came into possession of it and they are not into genealogy, but are not willing to share. I will keep making attemps to see if I can get them to see how important that information is to all of the family, if I am ever successful I will let you know what I find out.
