$:\$ I have questions about Thomas Evans and Sally Bass' daughter, Polly & Sally. The abstract of the will of Elizabeth Chapman, probabated Granville Co. NC 1855) "wills to Polly Evans (a free woman of color) residing on the lands of my sister Martha Chapman, 8 acres adjoining the lands of John Clardy Sr. for her use during life..." In the division of the estate, Sally Evans is named instead of Polly Evans.

I am trying to determine if this Polly and Sally Evans could be the daughters of Thomas & Sally. They are the only Polly and Sally Evans (apparantly unmarried) I have found in the granville census records for this time period. Does anyone know if, in fact, they moved to Union Co., OH and when?
