Thank you for your interest and information. About my Goodwyn line, in census rec.'s available. Hampton's birth place is always listed as Va., only, no specific city or cty. Am trying to learn who his parents were. Matilda's birth place is listed as Ga., and am trying to learn who her parents were. Their siblings(all born in ga.), were:
Quintus Goodwyn(changed name to Quinton North??).
Ella(Eller), Goodwyn
Abram Goodwyn
Johnie Goodwyn
Carrie Goodwyn
Perly Goodwyn
Victory,Victoria, Goodwyn. Married a Wortham. (my GGrandmother, mulatto).
Alice Goodwyn
Lena Goodwyn

And yes, I am aware of the various spelling for Goodwyn. They appear to have stayed in the coweta cty. area until death.
