I suspect many of the mulotto Reid famly living in Cabarrus were related to Jeremiah Reid. He served in the Revolutionary War in the place of a Mr Harris of I think Warren County. Can't remember the first name. Jeremiah purchased land near present day Pioneer Mills ca. 1790. He later owned a sizeable tract near present day Bethel UMC. He is likely buried near his children just south of hwy 24-27 and west of 601. Members of his family may also be buried at an old cemetery known as Jacob's Rock. Messages In This Thread
