Goins/Going and Ailstock families

Along with another Going/Goins researcher, I have been trying to find those or that specific hard to find connection(s) between the GOINS' of Ohio and the GOINGS family of Virginia. My jumping off point starts with a correspondents with a researcher in Albemarle County, Virginia. He suggested that Agnes (of Louisa) Going might be the grandmother of Michael (of Belmont) Goins. I studied the few records that I have my at disposal via the internet and this is what I have discovered:

I was looking at Paul Heinegg's Free African Americans in Virginia, North Carolina etc. I clicked on the Virginia link and looked closely at the Gowens family. I looked at Agnes (15th in the Going's list) and determined that she was born too early in the 1700s to be Michael's grandmother but if she is related she is most likely his great grandmother which meant I have to find the grandparents. I scrolled down the list strongly believing that the Goings family had some inter-connection with the Ailstocks because Jesse and James Going, two brothers, married two Ailstock women. I found James and Jesse's listed under Benjamin (33rd in the Going's list) who is Agnes' son. Also Michael (1st in the list for the Ailstocks) is about the same age as Agnes (15th in the Goings list). Michael Ailstock has a son Michael born about 1750 according to Mr. Heinegg. The second Michael is about the same age as Benjamin Going ( born say 1753). Michael Ailstock the son has dealings with James Going who eventually marries one of his daughter's namely Jenny Ailstock. Michael (the 2nd) Ailstock is the bondsman in 1799 for both his daughters.

This leaves me off at the point of trying to find the names of James and Jesse's children to see if there is a connection.
