Thanks for your reply. At the moment nothing seems to connect with our Lancaster lines except their place of origin.... PA/MD area.

As stated, my connection to the Lancaster's was first in Champaign County, Ohio with the marriage of Elias (1809) & Melinda Adams (1820) on 11 Dec 1837. And the fact that Elias' parents, David Isaac & Ratchel (sic), were long time neighbors of Lewis & Susan Adams, parents of Melinda, beginning with the 1820 Census.

Elias' parents, David Isaac (1785) & Ratchel (1790) along with Elias are all listed as born in MD in every Champaign County record I've found for them where a birth place is indicated.

I will certainly keep a 'watchful eye' for any links that might possibly connect my early Ohio Lancaster families to those from the Fayette County, PA area.
