Hi Everybody,

Through my research I have found that a lot of my relatives have same given names as the slaveholders descendants. So there must be a connection even though we have not proven that connection, only through the DNA PROJECT.

The more I research more and more names pop up from both races. Does anyone else find this occurrence in their families? Males names like David, Rudolph, Clarence, Nathan, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Silas, William, Joseph, John, James, etc. Girls names are Elizabeth, Leah, Helen, Mary, Jane, Jean, Ruth, Hepsey,
Sarah, Nancy, Bessie, Betty, etc.

I was just curious.
