I wondered about that too. And then last night in the pages I copied at the library I found the will of the executor of John Lawlor's will who also was the owner of Clary! I had copied those pages because it was listed in the index for Lawlor. In the executor's will who died 4 years later, I found out the following clues, he was the uncle of John Lawlor's children and using the internet I found that his wife was the sister of John Lawlor. He left Clary and her three children (none of which was Little Same) to his niece Susannah Lawlor. So now I am trying to trace Clary through her. I am going to hazard a guess that Little Sam was Clary's son and the other three children his brothers and sisters and try to trace them using the last name of the executor Minor or the last name of Susannah's husband Ingraham.
