I was wondering - could the person called Gerusha be Joshua Lucas, who migrated from Virginia to Jefferson County, VA? Do you have evidence as to the parents for Gerusha? According to one of the census, there was a Joshua Lucas who had a son named William H. Lucas. William H. Lucas, a well known and official in Cadiz, Ohio, apparently with relatives who currently reside in and around the Cleveland, Ohio area. To day, I haven't made contact with the Cleveland possibilities, but hope to do so in the near future.
