I am a descentant of William Weaver born say 1686. He had a son William Weaver, who was born say 1710. He had a son named James Weaver, born say 1762. James Weaver was charged with bastardy ny Martha Lynch in Halifax County court on 24 May 1798. Their son was probably two-month-old, Charles Lynch, who was ordered bound to James Weaver on the same day to learn the trade of cooper {Minutes 1796-8}. From this point on the Weaver line the Lynch line.
