Register of Free Negroes, 1813 Tax List and Gideon Granthom. 17 Jul 1797, Goochland County Will of Gideon Granthom, born 1798, free Negro. On 17 Feb 1800, Kate manumitted her son Woodson Granthom. On 13 Mar 1802 she sold land in Goochland County to James Holman to set her husband Phil free. I posted this reference because I have a Gideon and Wesdon in my family genealogy line. Another family member and I are doing individual researches on the family line. Hopefully, we might find a family connection.
