According to my grandmothers bible records, William Lowther, My
GreatGrandfather (her father)was born in 1843, he died in 1909.

Sarah Lowther (his mother) was born in 1811 (Africa), died 1918, GA..

Sarah had other Children: Edgar Lowther, John Lowther,Susie Lowther
and, Jim Gadsen.

Amelia Harvard Lowther (his wife) was born December 11,1847 Laurens
County, GA. she was born a slave to the Harvard people and was
inherited by amarried daughter to the Barker families.

Whatever, help or information you can assist me with, would be most
appreciated.
