Glad you found something. However, what gets me in all of this when it comes to a lot of persons, Free Persons of Color, that are listed, I wonder if there are some who are not. For instance in my 1840 Census for Cabarrus C ounty, N.C. my great grandfather Joel House is listed as a free person of color, yet I have never come across any records or documents or anything proving anything about h im.
