Art, I agree with you that these folks should be exposed, but their numbers are increasing at a faster rate than in the past because they have access to larger amounts of data. The copy/paste function enables so much theft and abuse that it is difficult to trace the origins of some of these actions. I hesitate to put any of my research on the web. I've witnessed a few examples when even a question I posed was placed within a different context -someone's rant, and there was never one word of exchange between us. One of my transcription submissions intended for an ethnic genealogy list, ended up instead on someone's personal genealogy web page of materials that "they'd" transcribed. So I've become a "once bitten, twice shy" contributor.
