Perhaps I may be of help to you since my hometown is Washington, Pennsylvania. There isn't too many web sites just for Washington, PA. In fact, only two. Your search engine would be The LeMoyne House and their historical site. There is a genealogy society but little information is contained for people of color which I'm hoping to change in the future. At the Citizens Public Library, there are several reference volumes with newspaper clippings from the early 1930's one of the librarian's extracted which may be useful.
