I beleive we are researching the same family. My grandmother was Jennie Bird and she named her parents as being Susan and Gray Bird. I did not know her but she died in the 1940's. There are several of her grandchildren living in New York City and South Boston, VA.

When I first found this side of my family, questions were asked about siblings of the grandmother and there seemed to have been no memories. If you find out anything, let me know, and will do the same.
