I was able to follow-up on several of your suggestions. Your suggestions provided additional background information on the Proctor family. I found the Washington Post article, "Brandywine People remain apart from other county residents", in the December 27, 1979 issue. Although the information technically does not bring me closer to the parents of my ancestor, Jacob Proctor I appreciate getting additional background on this community.
I have found that each piece of information potentially helps move my work forward. Knowing that another individual would take the time to support my effort is touching and puts "wind" beneath my research wings.
