I have some of the Whitley County marriage info but have been completely stymied regarding much info about those 3 Pompeys in Virginia.
Interestly enough, I've just pulled up under the public member access of ancestry.com that lists a
HALL & GRANT family connection,
Claiborne Pompey born 1788-Greensville County Virginia with a pedigree chart showing Phil Claiborn as father and Betty Pompey as mother. I don't have a paid subscription to ancestry but would love to dig deeper into that info.
