I suppose it is possible, yet on 1880 census (orginal) Fielding's response to place of birth of mother and father -response was "don't know".----Dawson's response was VA for both, which could/would include Claiborne as father.
From one of the website I have been searching, the writer indicated the possible unlce/nephew relationship, but there was no documentation.( Another avenue to explore )
