Fielding was born @1805 in E.Virginia.
Dawson was born@1802. They along with Claiborne Pompey (possibly an uncle) moved along with Jeffries, Goins, and others to Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.
They appear on 1850s,1860s,1870s and 1880s and some 1900 census records. There seems to be no record of their parentage, except a suggestion they may be decendents of John and Ann Pompey in the 1700s and that they may have been orphans. The possibility that Claiborne is/was and uncle is speculation because he was only 10-15 years older than Fielding and Dawson.
