My maiden name is Bowman and I have been trying to learn who my Bowman ancestry are. My grandfather’s name was William Simon Bowman born in Virginia 1862, from information passed down from an Aunt the family lived in Clinton, Anderson County, TN. William Simon had a sister name Linnie and a brother who was a preacher who moved to Michigan.
