John Dungee was taxable in King & Queen County on 110 acres from 1782 until 1802-1803 when his estate was taxable on the land. In 1804 Mason Collins was taxable on this land and in 1820 Mason said he had a life estate in 85 acres when he applied for a Revolutionary War pension. So Mason's wife may have been related to John Dungee [Library of Virginia, Land Tax List 1782-1812].
Unfortunately, no deeds or wills from the time survive.
