Jo traveled with me to Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic in 2007. I was attending the World Congress on Reading part of the time and she just had a great time going here and there with some of the people who were with us. They loved her. She befriended and bonded with a young woman who had been diagnosed with cancer. The two of them kept in touch after we returned. We traveled with a group organized by the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. The young woman was from the University. I'm sure that you know that Jo Had cancer.
