Free Negro Heads Families how determined?.
In Response To: NEGHS & HQ as research tools. ()
I have sent an email to the *help* person at NEGHS asking how it was determined who were Free Negro Heads of Families in 1830, and if they were on a separate census, or were they listed under Free White..I don't expect a reply before Monday..IF they reply..But I'm hoping they will..
That will at least answer that question for me..
