Thanks for your comments. I stumbled across the Harris family oral tradition online a year ago and also met another researcher who told me about a newspaper article that repeated the same tradition. I generally question traditions that mention someone with a royal title, especially African or Indian, but I still look for nuggets of truth within that tradition. I have reached the end of research and was making one last check before I had to draw up a conclusion.
