I'm looking for any information related to the Jones, Ayers, Lynem/Lyman/Linum and Goins families of north-central Kentucky. These families were considered free people of color and married into each others clans several times. In particular I'm looking for info on a Jacob Jones of Nicholas County and a Leander Ayers of Harrison County. Jacob Jones was born circa 1780 and Leander Ayers was born circa 1790. At one point both claimed Maryland as their birthplace.
