() Hello, Thank you for your suggestion! She was born in 1801, and thus in 1830 she was old enough to be the head but I am guessing that her husband was the head. The only issue is that I do not know his name. Unfortunatly in the 1830 census, they only list the heads and not the names of the people living with them, thus making it hard to find her specifically in the 1830's. There are a few free persons of color with the name Reed who are men, living in that area. It is likely that one of them would be her husband. So, I guess I was wondering if there was another scroll of some sort that listed all the free persons of color 1830 and before, not just the heads.It appeared in another message that maybe Paul had this information for Westmoreland.
