there was a Valmount Gallow(Gallot) who married a sister of my gg grandmother, Leonora Young SAM. Amelie Young married Valmount Gallot in the years after the Civil War. The 1880 census of St. Landry Parish lists them..

Valmont Gallott and Amelia Young had a daughter by name of Louisa Amelie Gallot.

Louisa Amelia Gallot married the son of my 3rd Great Grandmother, Charlotte LeBlanc.

Elie LeBlanc son of Charlotte LeBlanc and Louisa Amelie, daughter of Valmont Gallot and Amelie were married on Feb. 10, 1870, St Landry Catholic Church Record -- Vol. M2E Page 106 -- Rev. J.F. Raymond officiating in the presence of Jean P. Vige, Jean B. Rideau, Francois Babineaux.
