I was able to trace back an ancestor in Westmoreland in 1840. her name is Felicia(Phelicia) Reed. She is the head of the household in 1840 and 1850. I cannot find her in 1830. I noticed that you have the rolls for Westmoreland. If you have the time, I would be greatly appreciative if you could tell me if she was free in 1830 and before. WasReed, her maiden name or her husbands name. Were they alwys free? She was born in 1801. Any information you have would be appreciated, as I am stuck and am having difficulty going beyond 1840.
