Hi Linda. I notice there was a William Scott who was taxable on his own and Alexander Charity's tithe in Surry County in 1795. I stopped at 1816. If your William Scott was born about 1800, he might show up in the 1817-1848 list. The Scotts and Charitys were also in adjoining Prince George County, but I did not find a William there in the list that goes to 1834.
