Zadoc Harmon, Ouachita Poste
Zadoc Harmon was living at the Ouachita Poste by late 1793. With him were his wife, Elizabeth Clark Harmon, daughters, Ellen and Nancy and son Warner. Zadoc Harmon claimed that he was native of Lewis Town, Sussex Co., Deleware. In a depostion againt Zadoc, several folks claimed they had been his neighbors at an unspecified place in North Carolina. Another note claims that Zadoc and family were living on the French Broad River in Burke Co., North Carolina in the 1780's. Does anyone connect to this family? Would most like to know exactly where he was before coming to the Ouachita.
