I was wondering if there is anyone who can give me information on either of these families. My grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Walden-Wade, wrote some information in 1977 and also told stories about the Walden and Perkins family. I do know that the walden family migrated from North Carolina. Micajah Walden, her g-grandfather, along with Roberts moved their families to Indiana. Most members resided in Kokomo.

Cordelia Perkins-Walden was her mother. Cordelia's father was Warner Perkins(b.1835). This family migrated from Delaware in which some stopped in Ohio and some moved on the Michigan. Warner married Mariah Waugh-Perkins then moved to Indiana.

I have found an abundance of information on the Perkins website and free african american website by Paul Heinning. I was wondering if there was anyone who could share their stories and pictures with me.
