I will certainly check into the sites and resources you've mentioned. When I get a better handle on the surnames I'm working on for this area I'll be sure to touch base with you.

For starters, Adams is one of those surnames and they bounce back and forth between PA/WV. And there seems to be two distinct lines. From PA one goes to WV and then to SE Ohio and the other goes from PA to West Central Ohio.
