So in this example I am wondering if George & Sampson & Rachel have a surname. On the census we see a household name is often not repeated for every family member & I am wondering if this is what happened here ... which could make Rachel a REDMAN ?

Also for the last one "Henry Black", does black refer to his race or his surname ?
