alvinci, Thanks for your help and your input. The Quaker connections has possibilities. I'm finding the families of Agnes (Moseby) LaForce MAY have been Quaker. Her paternal Moseby's and maternal Woodson's have in some materials I have read been thought to have Quaker "leanings". I'm aware of Hinshaw's books as we were doing some research on the Quakers and their work with the UGRR in this part of Ohio. It appears I need to revisit those materials and look at Virginia and an earlier time period.
