I was just wondering if you've ever come across anyone researching the Perkins family from Randolph, IN. Since I emailed you offline about that marriage that occured in Darke County. I've learned quite a bit about the area. Apparently, the Greenville Settlement spanned between Ohio and Indiana. I've been trying to research the Perkins back into Tennessee (Claiborne County) but I'm not having much luck in finding any documentation on the family beyond the census. The Perkins appeared to have some sort of relationship with the Chavis's that lived in Claiborne County, TN. A number of the marriages in Claiborne county appeared to have been mixed-race which really surprised me. I'm a novice at researching before 1850.
