Paul, a quick question please. While at the Raleigh archives this fall, I was fortunate to be able to pay to have all of the slave documents (~1000 pgs) copied and sent to me in CA. Searching through them, I found an unfortunate case of a FPOC selling his children into slavery to satisfy a debt. This is the first I'd ever heard of this. Have you ever heard of such a thing?
