Re: Franky Miles and Nathaniel Harrison
In Response To: Re: Franky Miles and Nathaniel Harrison ()
Thanks for the heads up. I did see Henry in the 1860 census and wondered if he was related. There is a Henry Harrison age 25 in the 1850 census who is the son of Edwin Harrison. If this is the same Henry, then he is my ancestors brother. I'm descended from Nancy Osborne Harrison who is 9 years old in the 1850 census (I think, I don't have it in front of me). I don't know how many sons Edwin had, but he had 8 daughters!!!! I'll keep Henry on my radar and collect information about him also. It's the girls I'm going to have trouble tracking. Nancy never married and she and at least one of her sisters turns up as heads of household on the 1880 census. The others probably married and changed their names. Do you get your census information from disc or are you a member of Ancestry .com? Is it worth it, or should I just camp out at the library. I've been lucky because a lot of Amelia, VA census records are on line, but I've got relatives from other counties that I need to work on also. Again, Thanks : Hi, : Don't know if you have this record: HARRISON, HENRY (1860 U.S.
: Franky Miles 80 is right above him. : Denise
