Thomas KELLY, alias BYRNS, to Charles ESKRIDGE 8 May 1759 the
grand jury returned a presentment against Mary PROCTOR for having a base born mulatto child. Same date, Thomas KELLY for conniving and detaining Mary PROCTOR, to cohabit with a negro named
Peter.
