My brother contacted ... about 2002. I found some entries with his name Julius Ellis. The grandfather in question, Zebedee Cousins was the son of Charles Cousins and Francis Bass. I think Zebedee Cousins was born in Switzerland County, Indiana. I have actually visited the area and researched some documents at the court house there. I left with several unanswered questions. I could not find my grandfather's birth certificate (Zebedee Cousins)...

Don't know if you remember me or not but we have communicated by post and phone in the past. Your brother addressed his query to a response by Art. He wanted to know details about Zebedee COUSINS etc. I responded but never heard from him. Zebedee COUSINS was born 09-27-1904 in German Township, Darke County, Ohio. He would not have a birth certificate (they started 12-1908 in Ohio) but is in the county birth records (started 1867 in Ohio).
