My grandfather's name was Julius Winfield Ellis. His wife's name was Nellie Petticord. I think he was born in Indiana, but I have found no evidence of his birth. His mother's name was Henreitta Ellis, later Jones after she married John Henry Jones. I would love to find out more about my grandfather. His mother, Henrietta and his father, George Ellis were born in North Carolina. I can't trace their path to Muncie, Indiana, but I know that's where the ended up. Could you find out anything about this family?
