Re: PANGBURN in Allegheny Co., PA prior to 1830?
In Response To: Re: PANGBURN in Allegheny Co., PA prior to 1830? ()
Thanks so much, Denise. I have seen and copied Samuel PANGBURN in the 1880; 1900; and 1920 Census. However, I had no idea where he was or what he was doing in 1910. It is interesting to note that in 1900 he was a stenographer in Elizabeth, PA; while in 1910 he was a janitor in McMahon; and then in 1920 he was a union organizer in Pittsburgh.
You have helped enormously in putting an important piece of the puzzle in place. Now on to the new questions raised whenever an answer to one question is found. And, of course, I'm still eager to find out more about James PANGBURN's father, Moses PANGBURN who was a FPOC as early as 1830.
