I am looking for information on my potential ancestor Celia Thomas. She is listed as Celia Richardson (formerly Celia Thomas) in the Free Negro Register of Fairfax County, Va. I have found her on 1870 and 1880 censuses of Alexandria. In 1880, she is listed as the Aunt of Laura Watson. I have found out that Laura and Charles Watson are the namesakes of the Watson Reading Room which is an African American library in Alexandria.

I have also found a Cecelia Thomas in Washington D.C. 1850 that could be her too. I am confused.

Any information about Celia or the Watsons or a connection between them would be great. Thanks.
